Mr. Jordan is the author of eleven books including the recent memoir “A Nice Tuesday,” which novelist Harry Crews described as a book of “wonderful prose… (and) a valuable book for the library of any family who admires the written word.”  Mr. Jordan has also written thousands of published stories in such magazines as The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The New Yorker, Harper’s, Sports Illustrated, Playboy, G.Q., Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, and many others.  His stories have been anthologized in The Norton Anthology of World Literature, The Best Mystery Stories, the Best Crime Stories, the Best Essays, and the Best Sports Stories.
